Ahhh, the first day of school. It is both a happy day, and a sad day. Sad to start the "grind" again of lunches, homework,getting to bed on time, getting up early-- racing for the bus etc; sad to see the carefree days of summer come to a close, sad to realize how quickly the children grow up, and how few summers you acutally have with them. Happy to have the kids back into a routine and busy learning without bickering with each other! Happy to have a little more peace and quiet at home.
